Youth Alliance to Battle Autism
report that the AYABA Autism Awareness Spring Raffle exceeded
original expectations. The sense of volunteerism,
community and passion to help others displayed by all of the
AYABA's student volunteers was both heart warming and exemplary!
Nearly
80 student volunteers signed up to form almost 50
"teams", and raised over $65,000 in gross proceeds.
Ascent Salutes the Haber Family and everyone involved.

premiered at the Hope on the Horizon Dinner Dance on 2/3/06, has
been chosen for the New York International Independent Film and

Foundation approves a $35,000 grant for Ascent Respite
Program, helping families through the holiday and summer season.

The Steven Kaplan Memorial Foundation granted
the Ascent Funding Organization $35,000 in year 2003 for the purpose
of educating children with autism. Prior years of support were
granted in the amounts of $25,000 in year 2002, $20,000 in year 2001
and $5,000 in year 2000, also for the purpose of educating children
with autism.
