Dear Friend of Ascent,
The Ascent Funding Organization cordially invites
you to participate in its Ninth Annual Garden of Hope Gala, to be held at the
incomparable Garden City Hotel on June 9th, 2007. We are offering a
list of opportunities for you to join our cause: that of educating children and
adolescents with autism to their full potential. Every dollar donated will
benefit Ascent: A School for Individuals with Autism. Across Long Island,
Ascent’s purpose is to enhance the lives of autistic children, like my
son Stuey.
Your participation in this important event will
help to sponsor the type of educational programming that is required throughout
the life of an individual with autism. It is this lifespan approach that sets
the Ascent School apart from other schools designated for the autism
population. Speaking from personal experience, I can assure you this is true, as
my twelve year old son has made phenomenal progress in all areas of his
development since entering Ascent four years ago. Because of Ascent’s
treatment program, I now can look ahead towards a future of hope for Stuey,
rather than fear what might come next. For more information about Ascent,
